The Lily Pad - Cotswold Water Park
Nestled within the Cotswold Water Park, a fantastic location for a fun filled break with a great mix of activities available to satisfy all ages. Try your hand at paddle boarding, sailing, windsurfing or simply head out on a lovely walk around the lakes taking in the picturesque countryside. On site there are plenty of activities to choose from including tennis courts, children’s play area and indoor games room with a pool table, table football and video games. The lodge is an ideal base to explore the stunning local area with Cirencester, the Capital of the Cotswolds, 5.7 miles away. Tetbury is 13 miles away with its eclectic mix of antique shops and Highgrove House and Gardens, home to King Charles.
After an adventure filled day enjoying the area, make your way back to your lake front lodge to relax. As you enter the lodge you are greeted with the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner area which has been tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a self-catered stay. The kitchen is fully equipped giving you the opportunity to dine in together as a group. The area has some fantastic local produce, so you will be able to cook up a storm with some fine quality ingredients that you discover when you are out and about. The lounge is equipped with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. There is also a dining table that will comfortably seat everyone. Upstairs there are three bedroom, one king-size, one double and one single. The king-size room has a lovely en-suite shower room and there is a further bathroom.
From the lounge, head out on the decking which overlooks the lake and has outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ. It is a wonderful space to enjoy a meal with friends and family or simply enjoy the serenity whilst looking out across the water. The owner has provided a paddleboard and inflatable kayak that can be used on Windrush Lake, just a short walk away but please note lifejackets are not provided. This property has a private water supply.

Stable Cottage B&B and Self Catering
This charming Cotswold stone cottage set on an old cattle farm is an ideal retreat for couples or solo travellers wishing to escape to the country and provides easy access to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. You can see the Malmesbury Abbey from the grounds with the pretty market town 1 mile away. Browse the charming streets, taking in the delicious eateries and independent retailers and enjoy walks along the river. Head to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum (8 miles) which has one of the world's most diverse and beautiful botanical collections. Take to the waters at Cotswold Water Park (13 miles) where you can try your hand at kayaking, paddleboarding, or perhaps just explore this beautiful setting on a bicycle. This is just a taste of the many wonderful experiences to enjoy during your stay.
Step inside, kicking off your shoes in the entrance hall before heading into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. Here, a welcoming and homely feel has been created providing a wonderful place to relax after a busy day of exploring the local area. Curl up on the sofa with your favourite TV shows or enjoy a quiet read. The kitchen is well equipped to create some tasty home-from-home meals. A good night’s sleep will be had in the delightful double bedroom with some interesting character features and an inviting, comfortable bed. Finally, the beautiful shower room completes the interior of this property.
Outside is a large private garden with a lawn and patio where you can soak up the sun and atmosphere of the surroundings. A BBQ and dining furniture allow you to enjoy outdoor living with some al fresco dining.
